Greg Alexander |
Greg Alexander's deeply rooted passion
started at the age of six watching his father create beautiful art
from nothing but a plain white canvas. Greg enrolled in art
college after high school, but quickly decided he was learning more on
his own. He lived in a small cabin along the shores of Lake
Superior for four years and honed his skills to create art work that
inspires and captivates others. His dedication, his desire and
deeply rooted love for the natural work has earned him the notoriety
of begin considered one of the country's finest wildlife artists
today.
It takes Greg five weeks to complete an oil painting, and a lifetime
of understanding to create the piece. His gift has earned him
ten state conservation stamps, 2003 Rocky Mountain Elk
Foundation Artist of the year, and the 2006 Wild Turkey
Federation Artist of the year. Greg currently makes his
home in Ashland, Wisconsin with his wife Gina and two daughters.
A home tucked in the north woods of Wisconsin, Greg has more beautiful
scenes than he can paint in a lifetime. He feels truly
blessed... |
