Larry Fanning |
|
Larry Fanning is a self-taught Western and
wildlife artist who was born and raised in Kansas. He pursued a
variety of interests before making the step to strictly a fine-art
career at age 50. Larry's canvasses shine with the purity of the
nature of his subjects. Whether in the gaze of a trail boss, an
Indian's somber pose, the eyes of a wolf, the tender bond of a mare
and her foal, or the scenes of cowboys living on the American
frontier, his paintings reflect the beauty and significance of all
living things and a clear appreciation for the splendor of life.
Larry moved to Colorado in 1986 and was energized by the mountains and the changing seasons, and his love for the West is evident in his vivid paintings. Larry has won numerous awards, and his work is displayed in prestigious art shows and private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and South America. |
