Paul Kay |
Paul Kay was born and raised in Southwest
Arizona, and grew up roaming the mountains and deserts. He
formed a deep and lasting appreciation for the natural world and says,
"My wildlife art allows me the opportunity to indulge in my
creative passion and express my emotional attachment to the natural
world".
Paul studied fine arts at Brigham Young
University and Arizona State University as well as under several
renowned artists. He also apprenticed at the House of Bronze
fine art foundry in Prescott, Arizona.
Paul has received awards in numerous
national shows and competitions, including winning the '2002
Wyoming Conservation Stamp' contest, and won Best of Show at
the 2002 Western Heritage Art Show. Private
collectors have acquired numerous pieces over the last 20 years
including the State of Wyoming and the Phippen Museum permanent
collections.
