Rick, born in Utah, now lives in Wyoming.  Rick's artistic studies span throughout the West and Southwest states.  His labor of love varies from majestic settings, scenic vistas, depiction of the old west and those of its heritage.  Rick's talent takes him back as far as his memory recalls.  "I probably had a brush in my hand as soon as I could hold one," Rick states.  Attitude and uniqueness of his approach, along with the old school of art and his dedication to his art is truly projected from eye to hand by heart.  When asked how long does it take to do a painting, Rick replies, "43 years so far!"  Rick's works of art are enjoyed by collectors across the nation and in a dozen or more countries.

Rick's personal desire to capture the old West came from Russell and Remington as well as Frank McCarthy, Howard Terpening and many more.  

 When confronted about something in a piece, Rick says, "Can you keep a secret? So     can I!"  By the way his Great Grandfather was a Cherokee!
