Melita Snow |
Melita Snow was born in the magnificent
alpine region of Appenzell, Switzerland, spending her childhood
amongst the beautiful natural panoramas. The love of flowers and
nature came early and now uses these experiences to create her florals
and landscapes in both watercolor and encaustics.
Encaustics is an art form in wax known and used in ancient
Egypt. Watercolor and encaustic have proved to express her works
in a wonderful vibrant way, giving the feeling of freshness and true
sense of impressionism.
Melita lives with her husband Hank in the beautiful home they designed
and built, set in the spectacular view of the Wind River Range and the
surrounding meadows and streams of Wyoming. |
