Carrie Wild |
Carrie
was raised on a small horse farm in Southern Michigan where she
learned to respect and appreciate animals from the start. Now living
in Jackson, she is surrounded by her inspiration of wildlife, horses
and wide open spaces. The personality, presence and confirmation of
her subjects are captured by countless hours of observation. " I have
as much fun photographing and experiencing the natural traits and
habits of the individual animal and the species as I do painting
it
.It's all part of the adventure!" Bold colors, brush strokes and
contemporary design join up with colourful animals to create movement
and interest, allowing the viewer to imagine their own story within
the painting. At age 11 she won a state level 4H art competition that
motivated her to pursue a career as an artist. Carrie's work is
represented by West Lives On Gallery in Jackson, WY and Rich Haines
Gallery in Park City, Utah. |
